Carol Billing

Faculty member, University of Idaho

Dr. Billing is currently a faculty member of the University of Idaho’s Career & Technical Education, Teacher Preparation program. She develops and teaches online methods and technology-related courses to future CTE teachers. Prior to joining the University of Idaho, Dr. Billing was the founding department chair and associate professor in the Education department at the College of Western Idaho. Dr. Billing earned a PhD with a research focus in online pedagogy. She holds a BS in Journalism from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, an M.Ed. from National University in Cross-Cultural Teaching, a secondary teaching credentials for California and Idaho, as well as a California Administrative Credential. She is currently a lead researcher for a national research group focusing on CTE remote instructional strategies necessitated by the Covid19 pandemic. Carol and her husband Eric have been St. Mary’s parents for eight years. They have two sets of twins, Indy and Noah in 8th grade and AJ and Eli in 6th grade.
